HISTORY

BIO'S STILL A W.I.PLouise Lincoln was a talented, young Thermodynamicist at S.T.A.R Labs. She had a close college friend she was in love with named Crystal Frost who was the Head Researcher of The Thermofrost Chamber Experiment for the sole purpose of breaking the laws of Thermodynamics. Unfortunately, Crystal had a lab accident and gained Thermokinetic Cryokinesis with the downside of consuming limitless heat to stay alive. Overwhelmed with the effects of the experiment, she sought out heat from the other scientists, but was immediately detained by the security guards after killing a few of her colleagues.The murders sentenced her to serve her time in Belle Reve Penitentiary. During her stay, Crystal was locked up in a Refrigerator Cell and contracted a rare metahuman disease called ‘Hyperthermia Cancer’ due to the cell's low temperatures she endured for two weeks straight. Crystal's powers were now feeding off of her body heat to stay stable. She was reported to be furious at John Economos (The Warden of Belle Reve) for being the one responsible for her own demise despite the unintended side effect. Crystal's few visitors were her own parents, her best friend Louise Lincoln and lawyer. Louise was the only person she cared for and brought comfort in her time of need without treating her like a Metahuman freak.Due to another off-screen disastrous event caused by a villain called Typhoon; Crystal was one of the few metahumans to break out of prison after Typhoon's powers almost destroyed half of Belle Reve. The breakout event caused a killing spree to happen in Manhattan and the newest hero called Firestorm and Firehawk to intervene in the brutal scene after apprehending Typhoon. Now it was Firestorm's mission to detain all the dangerous Metahumans on different sections of the city.Firestorm went after Crystal on the Manhattan Bridge. He knew of her situation on the news and thought he could cure her Hyperthermia Cancer by overriding her with intense heat, yet miscalculated that neither of them could not control their powers at the time. He ended up vaporising her from existence. Therefore a tragic event that left Louise traumatised when she witnessed the murder after she sought to comfort her friend and try to pick her up when Crystal had called for help on a phone booth.There was a murder trial for Firestorm. Eventually he was ruled out as not guilty. The Judge deemed Firestorm's crime was a act of self-defence much to Louise’s dismay. Anyone who was against Crystal was certain to meet her wrath. She argued he was too dangerous to live for he was a living Nuclear Bomb waiting to vaporize the city.

Six months of hell flew by. Louise desperately wanted the nightmares to come to an end. She tried Grief Counselling and Group therapy to no avail. Dr. Matthews used to say forgiveness was the key to a solace life, but nothing could ever tame the fear and hate she had felt for Firestorm. It was an injustice. She didn't have the chance to see or hold Crystal's body in her funeral and the murderer gets away Scott-Free?Louise took it upon herself to seek vengeance against 'The Nuclear Monster' despite not being a powerful Metahuman. There was only one option and it was to reinvent the Thermofrost Chamber at S.T.A.R Labs. She knew she had rights to the design after Crystal willed it.After the completion of the experiment, S.T.A.R Labs found out she used the chamber late at night and went out on a rampage across Manhattan. It attracted the attention of Firestorm just as she wanted. Louise tried to kill him with little success. She nearly lost the fight when a terrorist called Plastique-who was one of Belle Reve's escaped prisoners-ended up 'killing' him with a explosive blast. Plastique then proposed a job to Louise. They held a common enemy and Louise was happy to help Plastique commit terrorism in Niagara Falls. However Firestorm was still alive after they left. He followed them with the help of his friend Firehawk. They fought in Niagara Falls. The victors bring Firestorm and Firehawk.While Louise was imprisoned in Belle Reve for a month with Plastique, The Assassination Bureau — a secret organisation hiring potential, yet vulnerable metahumans at the time — made their move. They sent their spy agent called Incognito to make a secret deal with Louise at her most vulnerable and disguised himself as a prison guard. He had offered her to join their operation with the alluring promise of killing Firestorm and the chance to control her powers by training relentlessly, but only if she was committed to keep a secret.Louise had put her life on the line the moment she agreed to cause a scene, let herself be stabbed by rival inmate and transported to a hospital where T.A.B had organised months prior to ambush the prison truck, eliminate the cops and pull Louise out the wreckage where she was given medical assistance by T.A.B's doctors. Louise would be then given the code name Killer Frost by her new boss Breathtaker who was left impressed by her unshaken determination. He would then mold his latest weapon to his vision just like the rest of the Metahumans inside his pockets.Killer Frost would work for T.A.B for life. During the last five years, Breathtaker utilized her knowledge for Thermodynamics and implanted Metahuman Training to make her into a better killing machine. Her mentor at the time was Multiplex (Danton Black) who was a professional criminal and mentor that took her under his wing.

Most infamous criminals have made deals with figurehead Breathtaker to obtain his operatives and use them as their tools.
